Ball into contact
- Ideally, we want to pass, but when we cant, we run hard, but don’t run straight into the defender
- Use footwork to run into their arms, and gain an extra meter.
- The primary objective is to get over the gain line and turn the defense
- If we run we ensure we control the ball
- If we are in control of the ball: offload from the deck
- If we don't have control: place it back for the scrum half
